Church House Westminster achieves AIM Secure rating

In a further step to reassure event buyers that Church House Westminster will be operating safely once it reopens for events, the Westminster venue has achieved the rigorous new annual AIM Secure standard.

The enhanced national quality accreditation for venues, launched earlier in July by the Meetings Industry Association, features vital infection prevention and control protocols.

General Manager of Church House Westminster, Robin Parker, said: โ€œThe accreditation not only demonstrates the quality of the meeting and events facilities of Church House, and our commitment to delivering a healthy and hygienic environment, but also highlights our service delivery and compliance with legislation.โ€.

News of the AIM Secure accreditation follows after confirmation that Church House Westminster is to reopen from 1 August 2020 to welcome back in-person events of up to 30 people.

The Grade II listed building in central Westminster offers 19 versatile event spaces and a combined area of almost 2,000 square metres, which allows for more than ample social distancing. The large space also makes a variety of event formats possible – from workshops to training seminars, meetings, forums and breakout spaces to facilitate networking.

In-house teams have been preparing the historic building, which comes equipped with the latest event technology, for Covid-secure events, including larger conferences and events from 1 October 2020, pending pilot tests from the Government.
