Coronavirus: Deliveroo for Business helping firms support staff

Deliveroo for Business is helping companies to support their staff during this unprecedented time.

Thousands of our clients across the globe have moved to working-from-home policies and are maintaining their office food perks, whilst taking greater precautions.

To keep people safe while they are still in the office we recommend:

• Pre-packaged grab and go options instead of buffets and platters. This will eliminate contact with shared food, and everybody can have their own meal.
• Temporary introduction of individual allowances for those still at the office so you reduce groups congregating in the canteen and people can get individually wrapped and delivered food options, without reducing the choice.

To boost the morale of people that are working remotely or from home, we recommend:

• Temporary introduction of capped and controlled Individual allowances for home workers so you can keep morale high and still treat them to one meal a day – all meals appear on the invoice, as usual, so you still have full control over the spend.
• Gift a meal to your team by buying meal vouchers (£10, £15, £20 etc.). These can be used on local restaurants or for convenience items through our grocery partners.

Finally, Deliveroo has also pledged 500,000 meals to NHS workers and the most vulnerable during COVID-19.
