Ascot Racecourse has announced the Royal Ascot fine dining line-up of chefs for Royal Ascot 2023, and it features more Michelin stars than any other British sporting event in history.

With a roster of globally renowned chefs who hold an abundance of coveted accolades, the 2023 Royal Meeting on 20-24 June will provide guests with an exceptional gastronomic experience.

Who will be cooking at Royal Ascot’s fine dining restaurants in 2023?

Among the โ€˜chefs in residenceโ€™, Sally Abรฉ of The Pem makes her Royal Ascot debut in Holyroodhouse in the Royal Enclosure after her successful appearance on the Great British Menu in 2022. Sally will be serving a tasting menu which draws inspiration from her passion for cooking with the finest British flavours.

The Royal Enclosure will also host three Michelin star chef Simon Rogan and Tom Barnes along with the esteemed Ollie Dabbous of HIDE, and The Dorchesterโ€™s youngest ever Head Chef Tom Booton. From chefโ€™s stations and relaxed dining options to six-course tasting menus, the corporate hospitality options are aplenty.

Two Michelin-starred chef Raymond Blanc OBE returns to the Panoramic to play his pivotal role as Chef Ambassador to the racecourse, while The Ledburyโ€™s Chef Patron Brett Graham will headline the Queen Anne Enclosureโ€™s flagship fine dining restaurant ON5. Brettโ€™s four-course lunch menu will give racegoers a taste of his produce-led signature style, accompanied by sommelier-selected fine wines.

James Tanner, Head Chef at the Kentish Hare and Barbican Kitchen, and TV regular, returns to the Queen Anne Kitchen while master pรขtissier Eric Lanlard returns with his exclusive Royal Ascot Afternoon Tea.

The biggest selection of culinary stars at a British sporting event

Speaking about the 2023 line-up, Jonathan Parker, Managing Director of 1711 by Ascot, said: โ€œDining at Royal Ascot has reached new heights in recent years and every year we challenge ourselves to better the year before โ€“ something Iโ€™m confident we will do once again in 2023. I believe Royal Ascot to be the single biggest collection of stars โ€“ both on and off the track โ€“ of any British sporting event and this yearโ€™s line-up demonstrates the breadth of innovation and style found across the UKโ€™s culinary scene.

โ€œWe are excited to welcome back some of our chefs as they continue to delight our customers with their much-loved dining concepts, while we also welcome The Pemโ€™s Sally Abรฉ to the Royal Meeting this year after her successful appearance on the Great British Menu last year.โ€

In addition to the impressive line-up of restaurants being hosted by well-known chefs, private boxes can be reserved for corporate gatherings during the Royal Meeting which afford guests incredible vistas, exclusivity and impeccable service.ย Catered to the very highest standards by the award-winning 1711 by Ascot team, boxes range in capacity from 10 to 108 people. They come with a private bar and dining area, a large flat screen TV and private balcony so guests wonโ€™t miss a second of the action.
