Emirates Old Trafford welcomes Aroma coffee brand

Emirates Old Trafford, home to Lancashire Cricket Club, has teamed up with Aroma as its new official coffee supplier.

The Italian brand is part of The Nero Roasting Company, which opened a Caffรจ Nero at the venue in February earlier this year.

To mark the announcement, Emirates Old Trafford became the first in the UK to serve Aroma at a conference, when it treated delegates at the Xperiology Ticketing Business Forum to an exclusive taste, during #UKCoffeeWeek.

โ€œCaffรจ Nero was delighted to get the opportunity to open a store at Emirates Old Trafford, and weโ€™re now really excited to launch the Aroma brand too,โ€ said Alan Reeve, business manager at Aroma.

โ€œFor us, Lancashire Cricket is leading the way with its approach to coffee quality throughout the entire stadium. The requirement to have a great tasting coffee at every turn, and their desire to use fully compostable cups made this an opportunity for us that we embraced with open arms.โ€

When Aroma officially launches at the start of June, it will be accessible across 3,600m2 of event spaces, which can cater for up to 2,000 people, from small meetings, to large exhibitions and hospitality.

Plus, cricket fans will also be able to purchase Aroma coffee in the membersโ€™ areas and on the concourse.

Anthony Mundy, operations director at Lancashire Cricket Club, added: โ€œWeโ€™re thrilled to welcome Aroma into the Emirates Old Trafford family. As a venue, weโ€™re constantly looking at ways in which we can improve our guestsโ€™ experience, whether that be for business or leisure, and itโ€™s been great to see delegates enjoying the new coffee this week.

โ€œWe have a fantastic relationship with The Nero Roasting Company, which has soared in recent months with the success of our new Caffรจ Nero store, and weโ€™re looking forward to continuing this in the future.โ€
