Enjoy The National Museum of the Royal Navy’s unique collection of venues

With an abundance of atmosphere and history, The National Museum of the Royal Navy offers a unique collection of venues that is unparalleled in the United Kingdom.

While all of the sites lie outside the capital, they are spread across the UK. The sites include HMS Trincomalee and The National Museum of the Royal Navy Hartlepool, HMS Caroline, Belfast, Fleet Air Arm Museum, Yeovilton, The National Museum of the Royal Navy, Portsmouth, home to HMS Warrior 1860 and HMS Victory, the Royal Navy Submarine Museum and the Museum of Naval Firepower, both in Gosport.

Whether you’re planning a large wedding celebration or a more intimate gathering, looking for a quirky conference venue, or hosting an unforgettable private dinner, we know that you will find the right venue among our collection of magnificent museums and historic ships.

From a Second World War-era submarine, to the cabin where Vice Admiral Lord Nelson formulated his plans to defeat the French and Spanish fleets and composed his famous and inspiring prayer, The National Museum’s spaces span hundreds of years of naval history and tell the story of how the Royal Navy shaped the modern world.

The National Museum of the Royal Navy has already invested heavily in the careful and sympathetic restoration of the group’s historic ships and magnificent museums, with more to come. All profits from income generated through hiring of our rooms and facilities goes to support the conservation of naval heritage.

Come and visit us to see for yourself our incredible locations.
