The London Summer Event Show 2024 returned on 20 โ 21 February to celebrate its 10th anniversary and it did not disappoint! The Show, organised by Story Events, welcomed 943 event agents and corporate buyers to the iconic, Art Deco Freemasonsโ Hall. The two days networking with 150 of the hottest event venues and suppliers, as well as the jam-packed content programme were outstanding. The seminars featured an array of informative content and there were also workshops for everyone to get involved with.
The event was elevated by delicious complimentary food and drink, courtesy of Londonโs leading event caterer, Moving Venue. The mouth-watering menu included summer-themed canapรฉs, bowl food and street food, paired with plenty of wine and show-stopping cocktails provided by this yearโs drinks sponsor, NEFT Vodka, and crafted by the Worldโs Young Mixologist, Luigi Giannini.

The Show also hosted a wide variety of well-attended seminars and workshops covering Sustainability tips, the Hottest Summer Event Trends, Mixology Masterclasses, with Venue Search London returning for their increasingly popular presentation of their โTop New London Venue Openingsโ. The programme also included two inspiring keynotes, one from TEDx speaker, Ellie Tuner Coughlin on โReworking Networkingโ and we were also joined by Last Supperโs Jonathan Attwood, who hosted a fascinating interview with twice Michelin- starred chef, Atul Kochhar, where guests discovered the secrets behind his culinary prowess.
This yearโs Show welcomed many new elements, including a brand new dedicated Wellness Lounge in partnership with Be In Your Element. Throughout both days of the Show, their Wellness Warriors offered a range of different activities including breath work, an on-site masseuse and positive affirmations, which were curated to help visitors and exhibitors find their balance, re-focus, re-energise and re-enter the rest of their day with mindful intentions.
Of course, it wouldnโt be right to celebrate a decade of the Show without the ultimate sparkling theme, โThe Glitter Galaโ and jaw-dropping entertainment. The beautifully decadent Freemasonsโ Hall was adorned with the most gorgeous summer florals and glitter balls galore, provided by our long standing suppliers, Hybrid Flowers, as well as a mesmerising ceiling installation by Bubblegum Balloons. Entertainment throughout both days included, a spinning contortionist, a harpist, human disco balls and so much more, all curated by this yearโs entertainment sponsors, Beyond Repair Entertainment.
Finally, all exhibitors and visitors joined each other in raising a toast to 10 years of the London Summer Event Show and danced the night away with a very special performance from the infamous The Function Band!
A date for July: the London Christmas Party Show
Storyโs sister Show, The London Christmas Party Show is just around the corner and we are excited to announce that we will be returning to Freemasonsโ Hall on the 16-17 July 2024.
