EXECSec exceeds expectations

This year?s EXECSec Summit was once again extremely well received by suppliers and delegates alike. Around 70 personal assistants from companies that included ITV, Lloyds Banking Group and Renault were in attendance at Whittlebury Hall from 27-28 April and met with suppliers from venues, travel management agencies and private jet operators in a series of face-to-face appointments.

Comments Lydia Jackson from Microsoft: ?I like the way the suppliers come to you, it?s not like a roadshow, which can be quite limited. Here, you have enough time to speak to the suppliers properly and explain the constraints that you?re working with at your company.?

Meanwhile, suppliers too were fulsome in their praise; as Meetingrooms.com?s David Dillon says: ?This is a great platform in terms of meeting a fantastic quality of delegates; it?s absolutely the right target audience for us and underlines that our decision to attend was exactly the right choice.?

Alongside the schedule of pre-arranged appointments, the event featured a fascinating seminar programme. The inspirational line-up included coach and author Sue France, who delivered a talk on Neuroscience ? maximising your brain for excellence, which looked at tools, tips and techniques on how best to harness the full potential of your brainpower.

Kerri Howard from DC Advisory sums up the response to the sessions when she notes that they were ?very high energy and engaging. I?ve learned innovative tools that can be utilised within my role every day. The speakers were personable, professional and genuine.?

On the Monday night guests sat down to a gala dinner where they were entertained by magician David Penn and later on by Danny Mills and his band. There was also much fun to be had at the open photo booth ? visit the gallery at palifeclub.co.uk/execsec-summit to check out pictures from the night.
