Grazing Catering launches on-demand ordering system

Grazing Catering, the flexible workplace and venue food company, has today announced the launch of โ€˜Catering on Demandโ€™ โ€“ an industry-first online ordering system that will provide office and facilities managers with a totally flexible end-to-end workplace feeding facility.

The new platform enables Grazing clients to order their workplace catering on a daily, weekly, monthly or ad-hoc basis via a new self-service web portal. There are no contracts and no long lead times required.

The company will be the first catering business to offer an end-to-end catering solution to central London offices. Every part of the process, including; order management, the cooking of the food, delivery and in-office service, will all be provided by Grazing.

Launched this month, โ€˜Catering on Demandโ€™ will enable the company to have total control of all elements of the staff catering process, assuring the integrity and quality of the product at all stages.

The product will offer a simple, frictionless online ordering system which will also facilitate increased transparency of menus and prices.

Grazing Catering was launched last year and offers customers a flexible catering solution that does not require fixed contracts or long-term agreements. Clients are able to use Grazing Catering services on a unique โ€˜pay as you goโ€™ basis, enabling increased flexibility and agility.

Sam Hurst, CEO, Grazing, said: โ€œFlexibility is at the heart of everything we do at Grazing. We have always wanted to create an employee feeding facility which takes what is already out there to the next level and makes it available to any company in London, at the click of a mouse.

โ€œStaff dining is a hugely important perk, embraced by many of the worldโ€™s best companies and now weโ€™ve made it obtainable to any London company, big and small, at any time.โ€

โ€œNot only do we offer a totally flexible contract model for our customers, but we also give them the opportunity to do it via an easy-to-use system which really takes the hassle of ordering away.

โ€œThere are companies out there who enable you to order for meetings, and there are intermediaries and tech companies like Deliveroo who bring food from third party suppliers to domestic (and now corporate) customers for a commission.

โ€œWhat we wanted to do was offer a product where everything sits with us, giving us complete control of the product and service from start to finish to ensure our customers receive the highest quality catering and by cutting out margins payable to intermediary platforms, weโ€™re able to offer much better value to our customers.โ€
