Celebrate Christmas and New Year’s Eve at The Fellows House 


Celebrate the most wonderful time of the year with Fellows House in Cambridge! The Christmas countdown starts in November with a Christmas Lights Switch-on and a festive market. The magic continues throughout December until New Year’s Day – and beyond. 

Accommodation offers are available if you want to experience all that Cambridge has to offer while enjoying the comforts of a luxury hotel with indoor pool, steam room, sauna and a well-equipped gym.  

Walking down central Cambridge with the twinkling lights above your head is truly magic. The ancient buildings are bathed in a dim glow, the narrow, cobbled alleyways have so much character.

Fellows have their special rooms for private dining – and so do we – the Hawking Suite is available for corporate and intimate family celebrations.  

Our festive menus include delicious plant-based dishes to accommodate your dietary needs, including a special afternoon tea available from 25 November. Afternoon tea starts at £35 per person with a dedicated Vegan menu as an option – both standard and vegan menus feature wild mushroom arancini and many more delicious seasonal bites, including amazing desserts such as passion fruit and orange pannacotta, macarons, avocado cheesecake and much more. 

The Folio Bar will be serving an extra helping of Christmas cheer with its sensational cocktails and mocktails. 

Welcome 2023 in style

Welcome 2023 like a Fellow with a five-course dinner with luxurious, fresh ingredients, including plant-based dishes for discerning palates. A live band will make this occasion a night to remember. Book by 11th December and you will receive a 10% discount.  

Delights on the menu include a confit duck rillette or a savoury scone as amuse-bouche, a lobster and crayfish starter or vegan cheese beignet with truffle purée and a refreshing sorbet of Champagne and winter berries. 

The main course will challenge dedicated foodies: will it be the beef fillet with truffled potatoes, the halibut fillet with scallops and shellfish bisque or the salt-baked butternut squash with wild mushroom strudel?  

Indulge in a delicious dessert: a chocolate and Cointreau tart with blood orange granita, Tonka bean and fennel cheesecake with white chocolate and strawberries or quince and apple frangipane tart with local vanilla ice cream. A cheeseboard and port will conclude the meal and there’s Champagne at midnight!
