Investigator hired to probe death of Hollywood PA

Following the wedding of actress Jennifer Aniston and actor/director Justin Theroux on the island of Bora Bora in August, 28-year-old PA Carmel Musgrove drowned. Her family has now hired a top investigator to re-open an enquiry into her death, which was originally ruled an accident, according to Inside Edition.

Musgrove was the PA to film producer Joel Silver and was also a budding producer, with credits including Non-Stop with Liam Neeson and The Gunman with Sean Penn.

She attended Aniston and Theroux’s wedding on the island in August. She later went for a swim by herself and her “lifeless and naked” body washed up on shore.

Although local authorities ruled her cause of death as accidental drowning, Musgrove’s family suspects foul play and has hired famed forensic pathologist Dr Michael Baden to perform an autopsy and investigate the circumstances of her death.
