Liverpool PA picked as Pitman’s super achiever

Liverpool-based personal assistant Dalya Bernstein has been named PA of the Year in the Pitman Training Super Achievers Awards 2014. She was picked by a high-profile panel of judges, including former White House Director of Events Laura Schwartz. With a high number of entries received for this year’s awards, Dalya (pictured), who is PA to an entrepreneur and manages assets in excess of £65 million, was named as the winner because of her perseverance and determination to succeed.

Despite having less experience compared to more highly qualified PA professionals, she has overcome the threat of redundancy and thrived in her role as a travelling assistant.

Cosmopolitan writer and panel judge Sophie Goddard confirms why she chose her, saying: “Dalya is the perfect proof that you can bounce back from adversity and the resilience she has shown in her career to date is remarkable.”

PA Hub founder Marion Lowrence says Dalya is an “inspiration to all in the profession” because she shares her story of hardship to encourage her fellow assistants. Marion continues: “She deals with some challenging subjects and a large budget. She set herself the goal of being a top PA, which she has succeeded in. Her passion shines through.”
