Mobile tech key to office ‘appiness

Do you find yourself considering your mobile phone to be your lifeline and can?t imagine life without it? New research conducted by cloud-based expense management solution webexpenses reveals that UK employees who use mobile apps at work are 21% more likely to be happier with their jobs.

With almost half (49%) of all employees saying there?s not enough time in the day to get everything done and 22% reporting that it?s difficult to keep on top of their workload, the research shows that the time-saving advantages of mobile apps could have huge benefits for the workforce.

What?s more, the research also found out what the nation?s favourite apps are, with task-management apps voted UK employees? most used mobile tool, chosen by 44% of workplace users. This is followed by travel apps (33%) and networking apps, such as LinkedIn (26%).

What?s more, when participants were asked what they?d prefer to give up for a year, the research found that over eight million Brits would rather not have sex than lose their mobile apps.
