This book is a moving and gritty autobiography. Michelle describes in detail her humble beginnings in the West End of Glasgow, where she gained her stripes in sales, right up to the creation of Ultimo, which is now one of the most recognised fashion businesses.

Michelle’s honesty and depth of character comes through in every chapter. She is very open about the struggles in both her personal and professional life, which have taught her how to get to the top of her game without sacrificing her own identity.

I loved that Michelle found the confidence to get fit and healthy and to model and release pictures of her wearing her own brand of lingerie.

At each new hurdle I found myself willing her to go on. This is one of the gutsiest autobiography’s I’ve read in a long time. Michelle has continued to build her businesses and her passion shows in her writing. In the words of Michelle – “Always do the things you are passionate about!”
