PA Life scoops major industry award

PA Life magazine has been declared the Best Industry Publication for management assistants in the pa-assist.com Members’ Voice Awards 2014. The publication beat off competition from a number of other sources of information, including two other print titles that were also shortlisted.

Commenting on the accolade, PA Life Editor Colette Doyle said: “This award is a true testament to the hard work that our team has put in to grow the profile of the magazine and turn it into a must-read for the entire PA community.”

The award (pictured above) was presented at a gala dinner at the stylish Beaumont Estate hotel in Windsor on 21 November, where invited guests gathered to witness a range of key players from the PA industry being honoured. The other winners were announced as follows:

• Best specialist recruitment consultancy: Hays PA and Secretarial

• Best training provider: Today’s PA

• Best online forum: LinkedIn: PAs, EAs, VAs and Senior Administrators

• Best App: Google Maps

• Best Industry Event: Office* Show

The Members’ Voice event ran concurrently with the BeMyVA Awards for virtual assistants and two citations were made in this category. The first was for VA of the Year, where the winner was Michelle Smith from Value Add Business Solutions (pictured above, far left); meanwhile, the Best Newcomer was named as Tanya Kuhrt of The Office HQ (pictured below, far right).
