PA Life Summit off to a phenomenal start

This morning has been a whirlwind of activity for the PA Life team and a group of hard-working PAs at the PA Life Summit. We’re here at the Belfry Hotel for the next two days to network, learn and meet suppliers in a series of face-to-face meetings.

Things got off to a fantastic start with an opening presentation by Marguerita King of Personal-Assistant-Tips, who taught us how to become a person of influence within our organisations. She gave some brilliant tips and told us about a few things that we can put into practice as soon as we return to the office, from complementing our boss’s brand to becoming a spokesperson for the PAs within our organisations.

Next, Liz Taylor had the audience in stitches with her tale of becoming The Millionaire Party Planner on the hit Channel 4 show. She spoke from experience to inspire PAs to believe that they can achieve anything with their events if they put their mind to it. She also told us a bit about her company, Taylor Lynn Corporation, which has planned out-of-this-world parties for the likes of Gary Barlow and Eamonn Holmes.

Attendees are now wrapping up their first round of face-to-face meetings before a networking buffet lunch. We’ll report back later with the afternoon’s activities.
