PA Life Training Day proves a success again

PA Life Training Day logo

The sixth edition of PA Life Training Day took place on 14 November at the Grange Tower Bridge Hotel, with PAs from all over the UK meeting to develop their skills and network with each other.

Feedback from delegates has been positive, with most saying they’ll be going back to the office with a whole new set of skills thanks to the expertise of our speakers. Topics discussed during the event include problem solving, personal branding, decision making, networking, time and email management, communication skills, conflict management, technology, business finance and event planning.

Presenters for the first half of the day included Lindsay Taylor from Your Excellency, who represented our partner, the IAM; Personal Impact Specialist Jodi Goldman; Adam Fidler from Adept Executive Consulting; Bob Hallewell from Expert Messaging; and Heather Baker from Baker Thompson Associates.

Afternoon speakers included Katherine Graham from CMP Resolutions; Sarah Sharp from SmartPA; Kevin Waters from EMC Event Courses; Darryl Samuels from Souters; EA and Author of How To Be a PA Maria Fuller; Amanda Johnson from The Virtual Assistant Coaching and Training Company; Mary Thomas from Concise Training; and award-winning EA and Head of Operations at Select Concierge Dalya Perry-Bernstein. Just before lunch, Dalya joined PA Life Editor Amelia Walker along with Adam Fidler and Jennifer Corcoran for a panel discussion on “Getting your boss’s buy-in on your development”.
