Peterborough PAs get together

Skills that empower PAs to delegate both upwards and downwards and that show assistants which steps to take to become strategic business partners to their bosses formed the basis of an interesting talk recently given by PA coach Lindsay Taylor of Your Excellency.

This was one of the fascinating seminars at the Peterborough PA Networkโ€™s second event, held in mid-July, a chance for its members to get together for professional development and networking opportunities.

Following Lindsay was Paula Carlton of local venue-finding agency Trinity Conferences, which takes the headache out of event planning with top tips and advice.

Finally, Chris Sandilands of Executips, a private network for assistants, explained the features of the site, which sparked lively debate on local restaurants and accommodation and how Executips can support sharing this information online.

Victoria Norris of the Norwich PA Network commented that the โ€œoverall feel of the meeting was very classy and well planned โ€“ really professional.โ€

The event at the William Cecil hotel, part of the Hillbrook Hotel group, brought ladies from both near and far โ€“ Cambridge, Norwich and the Norfolk coast were all represented.

Corporate Manager at the hotel, Vicki Brown, then treated the delegates to some tapas and champagne on the terrace, which was an enjoyable end to an informative afternoon.
