Pitman opens new Enfield training centre

Training provider Pitman is aiming to help people retrain and develop new skills in the wake of the pandemic.

Pitman Training Enfield is set to launch on January 17th and is delivering training and exams online and in person.

Neil Khakhria, centre manager and one of the owners of the local business, said: โ€œWeโ€™re so excited to be opening Pitman Training in Enfield. Pitman has been delivering training since 1837 and is a super brand in the world of accredited training.

โ€œOur new centre in Enfield not only provides a modern-day approach to accredited training but also provides students with a fun and inspiring state-of-the-art facility with highly motivated and experienced coaches.”

Dip Khakhria, co-owner of Pitman Enfield, offered: โ€œAt Pitman, we provide online courses, awards and diplomas along with support from our learning coaches for every student, which is what separates us from other online training providers as we offer a one-to-one service helping students achieve their qualifications and as an exam centre, we provide the place for them to complete their qualifications.

โ€œWith courses ranging from business administration to software and web development, the possibilities for people to boost their CV are numerous. Weโ€™ll also be offering additional support to our learners through our strong network of employers and recruitment agencies across London and the surrounding areas to explore prospective employment opportunities.โ€

The centre, in the heart of Enfield town, offers more than 250 courses in areas including business and management; office and secretarial; bookkeeping and accounting; Microsoft Office; marketing; career development; IT and web design and more. Courses are accredited by bodies including AAT, CompTIA, Digital Marketing Institute, Cilex, ECDL, City & Guilds, Microsoft and CPD Standards office.

Khakhria added: โ€œSince the government announced people over the age of 25 and adult learners may have to re-skill and retrain to get back into the job market, we have been committed to helping our learners every step of the way and are passionate about encouraging our local community to strive for better. The pandemic has created a lot of problems for people, so we just want to help people find work, get that promotion or even just switch careers.โ€

Pitman Training has been delivering training since 1837 and is a super brand in the world of accredited training. The brand takes its name from Sir Isaac Pitman, pioneer of shorthand writing.
