Sandals Resorts Assists with COVID-19 Response

Sandals Resorts has been working to assist with the relief efforts in the Caribbean to support the response to COVID-19.

The Sandals Foundation, the non-profit charitable arm of Sandals Resorts International, has to date partnered with and donated JMD$5million to the Private Sector Organisation of Jamaica in order to purchase ventilators for hospitals in the country.

Sandals Resorts is working alongside the Sandals Foundation to support the relief efforts. The brand has provided the Jamaican Government with access to the 52-room hotel Sandals Carlyle, which will be used as isolation centres for patients who have recovered but still need additional space to be monitored before returning home. Sandals Resorts is also providing transportation for healthcare professionals in Western Jamaica. As well as this, ten handheld thermometers have been donated to the Ministry of Health in Jamaica

Sandals Resorts is also making Sandals Regency La Toc Golf Resort & Spa in Saint Lucia available to accommodate Cuban healthcare workers coming onto the island to assist with COVID-19 efforts.

Both Sandals Resorts and the Sandals Foundation will continue to provide assistance where possible across the Caribbean.
