Sandals resorts honoured at meetings and incentive travel industry awards

Luxury Included Resort Company Takes Home Gold Award for Best Overseas Hotel at Awards Ceremony

Sandals Resorts has scooped the Gold Award for ‘Best Overseas Hotel’ for Sandals Royal Bahamian Resort at the annual Meetings and Incentive Travel Industry Awards.

Sandals Royal Bahamian came up against major international hotels including W Barcelona, Hotel Arts Barcelona, Atlantis the Palm Dubai and Four Seasons Dubai at Jumeirah Beach, to secure gold at The Meetings and Incentive Travel Industry’s Oscars at a lavish ceremony in London on Friday 2 March. The award was presented by breakfast TV star, Kate Garraway, at the Battersea Evolution.

The M&IT Industry Awards recognise and reward excellence, and are the result of voting by UK based event organisers and the readers of Meetings & Incentive Travel magazine – with votes audited and verified by the independent Audit Bureau of Circulations (ABC). The M&IT Awards are the oldest established awards programme in the meetings industry.
