Searcys at the Gherkin showcases new bar and restaurant concept

Searcys at the Gherkin has undergone a redesigned dining and bar concept across the 39th and 40th levels.

Dubbed Helix and Iris, the restaurant and bar is is now open for the public to enjoy cotemporary dining and unique cocktails.

Helix offers guests glorious views across the city, as well as menus that will deliver seasonal and local produce, including English green asparagus, Dorset crab, grapefruit, soy and sesame and Rhug Estate Welsh lamb with bell peppers, aubergine, courgette, pepper and pine nuts.

Meanwhile, guests will be able to reserve a space in the Iris bar from 11am to 11pm, where they can sample some of Searcys champagne.

Plus, the cocktail menu has paid homage to its view of London including The Little White Bird, which has been inspired by The Kensington Gardens, while the Jack the Ripper concoction references Whitechapel’s most famous serial killer.

The venue is currently available for event bookings; however, bookings must be made in advance.
