SecsintheCity announces first male PA of the Year

Recruitment site SecsintheCity has announced the winners of its 2014 awards, including the first male PA of the Year, Stuart Martin from M&C Saatchi (pictured).

“It’s an absolute privilege to have won this award and have the opportunity to represent male personal assistants,” Stuart comments. “In this day and age it’s important to break boundaries and social norms. I’ve been very fortunate in my career to have people who encouraged me to push for roles that challenge the traditional secretarial stereotype.”

The awards were established three years ago in order to champion the professionalism of management assistants and acknowledge their contribution to the organisations they work for.

In addition to recognising Stuart, the ceremony named Katie McEwan from Ann Summers as Social Networking PA of the Year, Rachel Newman from Hogan Lovells International as Legal PA of the Year and Rowan Forman from Threadneedle Investments as Interim PA of the Year.
