Somerset House integrates cultural offering with events

Somerset House is extending its commercial event offering through its diverse cultural programme, giving event organisers exclusive access to exhibitions and private tours of the site.

Somerset Houseโ€™s cultural programme of events and exhibitions is ever changing, offering a myriad of opportunities for organisers to enhance their event and provide guests and delegates with an unforgettable experience.

It’s currently offering enhanced options for 24/7 – a landmark exhibition examining human inability to switch off from our 24/7 culture; and The Museum of Architectureโ€™s Gingerbread City.

Enhancements currently include:

ยท       Private viewings โ€“ where guests have exclusive access to the latest exhibitions and installations.

ยท       Guest tickets โ€“ guests can visit and enjoy the venueโ€™s cultural programme on an individual basis.

ยท       Behind the scenes tours โ€“ taking in the rich history of one of Londonโ€™s most iconic 18th century buildings, exploring past and present uses of the building as well as exclusive access to the atmospheric Lightwells and Deadhouse, a popular film location.

ยท       Exhibition tours and talks โ€“ guests can enjoy unique insights into exhibitions with guided tours to unpack the themes behind the work.

โ€œOur cultural programme is ambitious in scope and fundamental to Somerset Houseโ€™s vision,โ€ said Luci Sorrell, Business Development Manager of the Commercial Events Team at Somerset House. โ€œWe want to combine the two in a way that mutually supports both, whilst delivering significant added value for event organisers.  Our โ€˜enhance your eventโ€™ options offer creative and flexible additions to any event here at Somerset House.โ€

24/7 and Gingerbread City are two high profile exhibitions taking place at Somerset House between now and late January/February 2020.

A range of enhancements are available for both events with further details available from the events team directly on 020 7845 4618 or via events@somersethouse.org.uk
