Sopwell House wins prestigious award

Country hotel Sopwell House has been named a winner in the prestigious Condé Nast Johansens Awards for Excellence. The property won the “Best for Meetings” category, which recognises the venue’s contribution to the corporate event world.

Held on 3 November at the May Fair Hotel in London, hoteliers from across the UK and Ireland joined together to celebrate outstanding achievements and business excellence in the hospitality industry.

Over the past two years, Hertfordshire-based Sopwell House has invested heavily in its corporate facilities and has undergone major refurbishment work to transform its meeting spaces and create new, flexible rooms of all sizes.
