Spitbank Fort transitions to exclusive-use only venue

Spitbank Fort, one of two the Napoleonic boutique hotels owned by Solent Forts and based off the coast of Portsmouth, is now available for exclusive-use only.

Offering a bespoke service with a dedicated Fort Captain, Executive Head Chef and fully staffed crew, the iconic Fort is ideal for accommodating those looking for a truly distinctive venue to celebrate a special occasion such as weddings, birthday parties, hen and stag dos as well as small corporate away days.

Offering quirky accommodation for adults only, its nine uniquely-designed spacious suites include panoramic awe-inspiring sea views cross the Solent. This includes the Crow’s Nest situated on the sun deck with floor to ceiling glass aspects.

Guests can sample a menu expertly prepared by the Executive Head Chef, enjoy the Victory bar, the sea views from the roof terrace complete with hot pool, firepit, sauna and sun deck.

The overnight stay package includes champagne reception, delicious buffet lunch, four-course dinner and a full English breakfast.

Spitbank Fort’s Exclusive Use 24-hour or 48-hour experiences can accommodate up to 18 guests to stay overnight and can cater for an additional 42 day or evening guests. Prices start from £349 per residential guest fully inclusive of boat transfer, food and accommodation. Drinks packages can be tailored to suit guests’ requirements.

The property will be available for exclusive use on its own or in conjunction with the neighbouring No Man’s Fort, the largest of the three forts in the Solent, which has an additional 23 en-suite rooms. Guests can enjoy the choice of five bars, casual and formal dining, rooftop hot pools, laser quest, games room, spa and a cabaret club. No Man’s Fort lends itself perfectly to all manner of events perfect for those once-in-a-lifetime occasions.

Leading off from the spectacular glass roofed Atrium at the heart of the venue are numerous function rooms available for hire. The best view on the fort comes from the Lighthouse situated on the top deck that offers panoramic views of the dramatic seascape from any of its three floors.
