Stamford Bridge Reveals Refurbished West Stand and 1905 Club

Stamford Bridgeโ€™s iconic West Stand has relaunched this week, following a major renovation project that saw much of the stadiumโ€™s hospitality and event space refreshed and upgraded.

The stadium, home to Chelsea Football Club, has made significant changes to the West Stand which is home to 50 individual event spaces, including the exclusive Directorsโ€™ Lounge, Executive Boxes and Millennium Suites which overlook the famous pitch. It has also opened a new event and matchday hospitality space on site – the 1905 Club.

This sought-after space replaces the stadiumโ€™s Marco Grill restaurant, paying homage to the evolution of the stadium over the years since Chelsea made it its home in 1905. It offers a comprehensive meetings and events space for up to 105 delegates, and is transformed into an exclusive hospitality suite each matchday, seating up to 100 guests for an exceptional hospitality dining experience.

Simon Hunter, Head of Venue and Development, commented: โ€œEnsuring we offer our clients and their guests a world-class experience while at the venue is a top priority for us. The refurbishment of the West Stand, which accommodates up to 1,000 delegates at any given time, reinforces our position in what is a very competitive market. The new-look Millennium Reception adds a real sense of arrival, and the new fixtures and fittings give each space a fresh and vibrant feel, all of which enhances our quality offering and ensures a premium experience.โ€

Hunter continues: โ€œWe were delighted to offer guests a sneak preview of the refurbished space earlier this month, at our exclusive showcase event, Extra Time, following which weโ€™ve had a number of exciting enquiries.โ€

Set over an 11-acre site, Stamford Bridge is one of Londonโ€™s most complete venues, offering versatile meetings, events and hospitality spaces including music venue Under The Bridge and the Chelsea FC Museum as well as two luxury hotels, an onsite restaurant, the Chelsea Health Club & Spa and an onsite private car park, all just two minutesโ€™ walk from Fulham Broadway underground station.
