Stella McCartney’s former personal shopper caught after row with boyfriend

Fashion designer Stella McCartney’s formal personal shopper, Lucia Hajnikova, has admitted that she destroyed her investment banker ex-boyfriend’s designer clothes in a jealous rage after he spoke to another woman on a night out.

Hajnikova fled to Slovakia following an incident in which she cut up Ege Akcasoy’s clothes at his £725,000 flat in Chelsea in July this year. She was arrested on her return to Britain and has pleaded guilty to causing criminal damage to property at Isleworth Crown Court.

Items included in the damaged goods include a dinner jacket, winter coats, designer suits, shirts and ties, as well as a wardrobe and a window.

However, the judge presiding over the case has adjourned sentencing until next month after Hajnikova claimed the £25,000 estimate placed on the clothes by Akcasoy is incorrect, as the clothes were a few years old. She has also accused him of being violent towards her.
