Story Events launches new initiative to support small businesses in the events industry

Story Events London Summer Event Show

Story Events has announced a new initiative to form part of its exhibition series, the London Summer Event Show and the London Christmas Party Show.ย โ€˜Story Gives Backโ€™ will represent a special area at the shows, helping to promote small or new event suppliers to the event market.

Being launched at the London Summer Event Show from 24-25 January 2017, the โ€˜Story Gives Backโ€™ initiative will offer small or new event suppliers who are first-time exhibitors to the Story exhibition series a one-time free pass to exhibit at the show.

In total there will be six spaces available in the initiative, which will include a fully built stand in the โ€˜Story Gives Backโ€™ section, promotion to the exhibitionsโ€™ visitor database of 21,0000 event buyers, a profile on the exhibition website and a profile in the exhibition guide, as well as the exhibitor survival kit and complimentary food and drink throughout the event.

Dominique Gill, Show Director and CEO of Story Events comments: โ€œAs a young and relatively small company we understand how valuable it is to be supported by other companies in the industry. The UK events scene is so dynamic, with new suppliers constantly popping onto the scene. The โ€˜Story Gives Backโ€™ initiative will help to give these suppliers the best possible start by putting them in front of the hundreds of top event agents and corporate buyers that visit our events. Itโ€™s also a great way of adding fresh content to the event for our visitorsโ€

Small or new event suppliers can apply to be considered as a โ€˜Story Gives Backโ€™ exhibitor by contacting Clare McAndrew, Marketing Manager of Story Events at clare@storyevents.co.uk. A vote will then be put to the show visitors toward the end of the year to decide the chosen six suppliers to be included in the initiative.
