The Cystic Fibrosis Trust seeks executive assistant

The Cystic Fibrosis Trust is recruiting an experienced executive assistant to support the organisation’s senior leadership team. This full-time role offers a salary of circa £25,000 and is based at the charity’s office in Bromley, Kent.

This exciting role will provide administrative and executive support to the Cystic Fibrosis Trust’s senior leadership team, with particular responsibility for the Director of Finance & Business Services and the Director of Strategy and Performance. You will also be working alongside the EA to the Chief Executive to provide administrative support to the board of trustees and the finance committee. You will have exclusive responsibility for fulfilling statutory requirements of the organisation, which entails working with the Charities Commission and Companies House.

With excellent communications skills and the ability to liaise at all levels, the ideal candidate will have a flexible outlook and enjoy being part of a busy team. You will be working in an environment where employees are empowered to take initiative and prioritise tasks when necessary. You will be a person with a sensitive, diplomatic and tactful approach who has regular contact with the internal and external networks of the organisation.

The Cystic Fibrosis Trust is the only UK-wide charity making a daily difference to the lives of people with cystic fibrosis and those who care for them. The organisation invests in cutting-edge research, drives up standards of clinical care, offers support for everyone affected by the disease and campaigns on the issues that matter.

Cystic fibrosis is a life-shortening inherited condition that affects almost 10,000 people in the UK. It is chronically misunderstood, kills thousands worldwide and is carried unknowingly in the genes of millions. The charity aims to beat it.

If this role is for you, please send a covering letter describing your relevant experience to date, along with your CV to recruitment@cysticfibrosis.org.uk. The closing date for completed applications is Friday, 13 March, with interviews taking place on Monday, 23 March.
