Venues of Excellence announces 2019 Showcase Event

February 2019 will see Venues of Excellence launch an exclusive Showcase Event for agencies to attend.

Taking place on Wednesday, February 6, 2019, at the Victory Services Club (VSC) in London, agencies will get the opportunity to network with venues, attend speaker sessions and an exhibition.

Supported by PA Life and Hartsqaure, the day will also boast a continental breakfast in the morning and a buffet lunch, while the afternoon will also see the Victory Services Club host a gin reception and a prize draw for guests.

“Venues of Excellence has 46 venues within the consortium, and we organise these networking Showcase Events to enable event organisers to meet with our independent member venues. At the event we are delighted to have around 20 of our members attending and our Venues of Excellence team will also be speaking to delegates about our wider portfolio of venues,” Mandy Jennings, executive director at Venues of Excellence, told PA Life.

“Choosing Victory Services Club to work in partnership with Venues of Excellence on this event was a natural choice; the venue has a great meeting space, is centrally located for delegates to access and as a charitable organisation, the VSC offers exceptional facilities and initiatives for current and former members of the military.”

Itinerary for the day:
7.30 – 9am – Venue stand set-up in the exhibition area
9am – Venue briefing and continental breakfast
10 – 10.45am – Delegate registration and networking with venues
10.45am – Welcome by Mandy Jennings, executive director, Venues of Excellence
11am – Speaker (TBA)
12noon – 12.15pm – Q&A from audience
12.15 – 1.15pm – Networking with venues
1.15pm – Buffet lunch (networking opportunities continue through lunch)
2.30pm – Victory Services Club gin reception and prize draw
3pm – Event finishes
