Olympia’s transformation takes shape with new openings this week that will enhance events, exhibitions, and conferences

Olympia has reached a major milestone in its £1.3 billion transformation with a series of landmark openings taking place this week. These new additions to Olympia will transform the visitor experience and create exciting new opportunities for event organisers…

At the heart of the redevelopment, a collection of new bars and restaurants operated by Incipio have opened beneath Olympia’s striking new canopy. Designed to enhance every stage of the event journey, these vibrant venues provide ideal spaces for networking, client entertainment, team gatherings and post-event socialising.

They join the recently opened Pillar Hall, Olympia’s beautifully restored Grade II*-listed venue dating back to 1886. Located directly opposite Kensington (Olympia) station, Pillar Hall is home to three distinctive dining concepts, adding further choice and character to the destination.

Olympia’s growing entertainment offering was also strengthened last week with the opening of the British Airways ARC, a 3,800-capacity live music and entertainment venue operated by AEG Presents. The venue launched with two headline performances from Mercury Prize-nominated artist Self Esteem. Looking ahead, Olympia will also welcome London’s largest permanent new theatre in more than 50 years, set to open in 2027 with a capacity of 1,575 seats.

The transformation continues this summer with the opening of the Hyatt Regency London Olympia on 6 July. The hotel will introduce 204 guest rooms alongside premium hospitality and event facilities, making it even easier for delegates, exhibitors and organisers from around the world to stay, meet and connect on site. The citizenM London Olympia is also expected to open later this summer.

Together, these additions further establish Olympia as one of London’s most diverse venues for events, exhibitions and conferences – bringing together world-class event spaces, exceptional hospitality, live entertainment and accommodation, all within a single, fully-connected destination.
