Private dining at Hawksmoor is different. Whether you’re organising a business meeting, birthday dinners, engagement parties or other special occasions, there are lots of group dining choices at Hawksmoor.
The restaurant boasts a beautiful private dining room; seating up to twenty people. The room is named after the local legend Queenie Watts; and is perfect for lunches, intimate dinners, wine tastings, engagement parties or any occasion that requires a personal touch.
Our menus distil the very best of our customers’ favourite dishes, so you’ll get the full Hawksmoor experience delivered in a group-friendly way. We’re flexible, though – let us know what you need. Our vegetarian and vegan dishes take pride of place, and all other dietary requirements are easy to arrange.
Privacy goes without saying, but also there’s the special attention you get from your own dedicated waiter(s). You’ll receive more time from them at the table as they explain the dishes and wine pairings in as much detail as you please. For a few hours, you can forget about the world outside. You’re in the moment.
One thing people don’t always think about is the acoustics. With a large group, it can be hard to hear each other in an already noisy dining space. So having a private dining room can be a little more sociable; it’s easier to make connections with more people in your group.
Hawksmoor Bar Summer Terrace
Sitting on the water, Wood Wharf’s outdoor terrace – the perfect space for al fresco lunches or dinners and as well for events, with a capacity of up to 80 people for a standing reception. In the summer, the deck is a suntrap late into the evening. Perfect for summer social and sun-drenched celebrations.
Semi-private and Exclusive hire options for your summer events at Hawksmoor Wood Wharf
For events of up to 230 people, Hawksmoor Wood Wharf’s downstairs bar can be hired out on an semi-private and exclusive hire basis for different events. The venue can host live bands or DJs, and your designated event manager will assist you with your event from day one until the end.

In London, we have dedicated spaces at Guildhall, Wood Wharf, Spitalfields and Borough. At the latter, there’s even a dedicated open kitchen, so you can engage with the chef about the food as it’s being prepared. Of course, you’ll also have your own dedicated waiter. More details can be found here.
