Heritage meets hospitality: The Lansdowne Club’s 90th anniversary festive season

The Library by Henry Brosi, the newest addition to The Lansdowne Clubโ€™s dining portfolio. This intimate, wood-panelled space offers an elevated private dining experience for up to 12 guests. Available by reservation to members and non-members alike, The Library is designed for those seeking exclusivity, refinement, and culinary excellence in one of Mayfairโ€™s most discreet settings.

Perfect for festive family gatherings as well as corporate or social occasions, it offers a truly private environment where guests can indulge in the pleasures of fine food and wine.

Executive Head Chef Henry Brosi, formerly of The Dorchester, curates and presents each menu with precision and artistry, pairing seasonal dishes with wines from the Clubโ€™s extensive cellar. Guests may also opt for a fully immersive experience, with Chef Brosi personally introducing each course and its pairing, offering rare insight into his creative process.

Sample dishes include Norfolk Bronze Turkey with apricot and sage stuffing, goose fat roast potatoes, charred Brussels sprouts with chestnuts and bacon, pigs in
blankets, and cranberry sauce; Loin of Venison with parmesan crisp, red wine poached pear, blackberries, and cassis jus. The indulgent dessert menu includes Traditional Christmas Pudding with Armagnac custard and Tahitian vanilla ice cream, and Frozen Grand Marnier Soufflรฉ with candied orange and chocolate brandy snap.

With a minimum spend of ยฃ3,000, The Library offers an unrivalled setting for seasonal dining in the heart of Mayfair.

What’s on offer beyond the Lansdowne Club’s 90th anniversary festive season?

The Lansdowne Club also offers a rare opportunity to step behind the pass through its Masterclass Experience with Chef Henry Brosi. Held in the Clubโ€™s Art Deco Dining Room and private kitchen, these small-format masterclasses are limited to just four participants, ensuring a highly personalised experience.

Each session begins with breakfast and Buckโ€™s Fizz, followed by a hands-on tutorial where guests learn to prepare two seasonal dishes under Chef Brosiโ€™s guidance. The day concludes with a five-course lunch paired with fine wines, served in the Dining Room. Year-round themes include pasta making, canapรฉs, desserts, and British
vs. Wagyu cuts of beef. Additional to this, there are seasonal options such as white truffle (Octoberโ€“November) and black truffle (Decemberโ€“March) providing an indulgent festive highlight. Prices start from ยฃ350 per person.
