Top trends in the company Christmas party landscape for 2022

company-Christmas-party-Ascot

With less than 10 weeks to go until Christmas, the countdown to the festive season is in full swing. If youโ€™ve yet to organise your company Christmas party and are worried youโ€™ve left it too late, donโ€™t panic.

In a normal year, it might be considered a little late in the day to start planning now, but 2022 has been anything but normal. Shortened timescales have meant a much smaller window to plan for many this year so there is still some Christmas party options available.

At Ascot, we have limited dates remaining on a range of corporate party packages to help you deliver a Christmas bash to remember but what are the key trends to consider before booking your celebration?

Blending business and celebration

Festive events that combine business with team celebration are set to be a key trend this Christmas and can help keep your company culture thriving, especially important in this new era of hybrid working. Thereโ€™s a lot of value in bringing everyone together for a meeting or conference and then letting your hair down for a bit of festive cheer.

For smaller parties of up to eight people, guests can indulge in a three-course ร  la carte festive lunch or dinner in Ascotโ€™s contemporary fifth floor ON5 Restaurant with spectacular panoramic views of the racecourse and Windsor Great Park. For an exclusive party, the sophisticated Parade Ring Restaurant can host 120+ guests, ON5 Restaurant can host 150+ guests while the impressive Pavilion Suite can host up to 700 guests.

For Christmas lunch and dinner at Ascot, guests are invited to choose from our Christmas ร  la carte menu. For groups of eight or more, pre-ordering is required.

The return of glitz & glamour to the company Christmas party

If there was ever an occasion to bring back the glitz and glamour, this yearโ€™s Christmas party is it, without the fear of restrictions or cancellations.

For a minimum of eight people, Ascotโ€™s show-stopping Great Gatsby-themed shared Christmas party night will be hosted in the grand Pavilion Suite and includes a welcome drink, three-course meal and entertainment.

For an exclusive party for between 600 and 3,000 guests, look no further than Ascotโ€™s impressive Grandstand Galleria. With its soaring 27-metre-high atrium, itโ€™s the perfect backdrop for parties on an epic scale. For those looking to get ahead with planning, bookings are already being taken for 2023 celebrations.

Prices for shared parties at Ascot start from ยฃ69 per person + VAT. Charity and NHS workers receive a special rate of ยฃ45 per person + VAT on selected dates. Prices for exclusive parties start from ยฃ85 per person + VAT.

A conscious Christmas

More than just a trend, sustainability and CSR are becoming an integral part of corporate event planning.

Reduce the impact your Christmas party has on the planet by choosing a venue that is committed to sustainability. Ascot has introduced several sustainable initiatives including zero waste to landfill, reducing single plastics on site, increasing plant-based menu options and much more. With Ascot station just a short distance from the racecourse, guests can easily travel by train with direct lines from London and Reading.

Adding a CSR element to your Christmas party at Ascot allows you to reward staff while helping others, giving everyone that extra feel-good factor. For example, you could ask staff to donate a warm coat for the homeless or collect and donate toys and gifts for families in need.

A celebratory Christmas event can play a big part in shaping the culture of your company, making employees feel valued and motivating them for the year ahead so book your team the ultimate Christmas party at Ascot and give them a night to remember.
