WHAT WAS OUR MAY MEET UP AT BARRIO ANGEL LIKE?

The second of our three Meet Ups hosted by Barrio Bars this year was on May 12th at Barrio Angel. It was hugely popular with 21 PA Life Club members attending.

The evening in Angel was fantastic from start to finish. Shayne, the Group Sales and Events Manager, and his team were incredibly hospitable making sure everyone had a great time and also showed us around the venue to give us a flavour of all the different spaces available for parties, team dinners or drinks.

The unique decor of Barrio Bars is South American street culture inspired and immediately transports you to warmer climes away for London’s grey skies. On arrival we were treated to great Latin themed cocktails such as Rasberry Berry, Tropical Plunder, Tequila shots, and Prosecco of course, enjoyed to cool tunes played by a DJ, making it a relaxed and fun atmosphere.

The photobooth proved very popular with our Club members and everyone had a crazy fun time in it. The evening ended up with all of us dancing and showing off their salsa moves. The final word from everyone there was simply that they’ll be coming back to Barrio Angel, as well as going to the Barrio Shorditch, Brixton and Soho bars.

This Meet Up was bigger in numbers than what we’d planned due to its popularity (sadly some members had to be left on waiting list even). But luckily there is another chance to experience Barrio Bars on June 7th!
