WORKTECH Index launched to help companies improve workplace experience

The future of work is ever-evolving, but one question keeps shaping these changes as they unfold: magnetise vs mandate โ€“ how do we get employees back into the office? Mandates for workplace attendance are being implemented across a wide variety of firms globally, but experts warn that without enhancing experience, companies risk losing staff. WORKTECH Index has been launched to help companies improve workplace experience…

An enticing workplace experience can benefit everyone, because when employees want to be in the office, culture improves โ€“ and when culture improves, engagement and productivity improves.

There are six moments that matter in improving workplace experience

A new diagnostic tool designed to help employers measure and improve workplace experience has been launched based on six โ€œmoments that matterโ€ at work. These โ€œmomentsโ€ are particularly relevant in the current work landscape, where the dynamic interplay between workplace, technology, and culture challenges traditional ways of working.

The WORKTECH Index, developed by the management consulting and research firm UnWork, provides a standardised, repeatable employee survey that evaluates the six key dimensions of workplace experience โ€“ giving organisations rapid, actionable insights based on robust data to inform workplace strategy and transformation.

Built on more than 25 years of workplace research and consulting, the WORKTECH Index survey was designed to maximise participation. Participating organisations receive a detailed report that highlights strengths and opportunities, both holistically and within each dimension of experience

As the WORKTECH Index is increasingly adopted, a pool of aggregated, anonymised responses will contribute to a growing global benchmark that will enable cross-industry and cross-regional comparison.

The WORKTECH Index offers a practical mechanism for workplace leaders to capture the key dimensions of employee experience and translate them into measurable action.

UnWork Managing Director Frankie Jack says:

โ€œOur clients, from global banks to leading technology and law firms, consistently tell us that elevating the employee experience is a top priority, yet one of the hardest challenges to execute well.ย The WORKTECH Index gives organisations a fast, reliable way to capture the data and insights they need to meaningfully shift performance, satisfaction, and the overall workplace experience.โ€
