Now in its fifth year and firmly at home in London, ABBA Voyage continues to delight fans of all ages with a setlist of the band’s biggest hits. This really is a concert that “needs to be seen to be believed” (BBC).
In May, ABBA Voyage celebrated its 4th anniversary. This event was a celebration of the millions of fans who have sung and danced through our doors and shared countless unforgettable moments over the years.
We were also proud to launch our expanded Education Programme at the beginning of June, which highlights our commitment to supporting education and employability across the four East London growth boroughs. This involves a Careers Week, East Summer/Autumn School, mentoring programmes, schools concerts, teach meets, and youth ticketing. To mark this launch, we welcomed nearly 3,000 school children through the doors of the ABBA Arena, hosting a special schools concert alongside Benny Andersson and Frida Lyngstad from ABBA.
This event brought together industry leaders, local stakeholders and over 50 schools, celebrating the power of music, creativity and access to the arts. We had a couple of very special guests in attendance, with Benny and Frida joining to experience a sing-along of ‘Thank You For The Music’ and taking part in an exclusive Q+A with a group of children.
