Agiito, one of the UK’s most respected corporate travel and event management companies, has been acquired by Clarity Business Travel. The new owner is the business travel and events division of the Portman Travel Group. The Agiito acquisition puts a new executive team in place.
The much-anticipated deal, announced in August, marks a significant move for the industry. It will strategically bring together years of unparalleled, award-winning expertise from Agiito, Clarity and Brighter Events alongside their enviable reputations for service in the industry.
The new combined business is poised to transform the industry through a cutting-edge technology platform boasting proprietary technologies in online booking, meetings and events. The business will be led by the combined Executive Leadership teams from both businesses and headed by Pat McDonagh as CEO.

Agiito acquisition creates a stronger new executive team
The new Executive Leadership Team will combine the previous senior teams from both Agiito and Clarity, creating a strong and experienced team to drive the business forward:
- Donna Fitzgerald – Executive Director – Business Travel
Most recently COO and interim CEO at Agiito, Donna will be responsible for developing and implementing Clarity’s growth strategy and driving business development and customer retention alongside the identification of new opportunities. Donna will have direct responsibility for the Sales and Account Management functions of the combined businesses.
- Paul Casement – Executive Director – Meetings & Events
Previously Account Management & Events Director at Clarity, Paul will focus on growing the Meetings & Events business backed by the innovative Meetings pro product. Paul will lead an unrivalled team of Meetings & Events specialists and Account Managers focused entirely on Meetings & Events.
