UK event and venue-booking platform, Hire Space, has promised to revolutionise the way that meetings, private dining events, and office parties are booked with new instant venue-booking technology that allows PAs tasked with organising events to book venues online in minutes.
The company, which was the first platform in the UK to allow event bookers to find and book event venues through one site, has now introduced technology to shorten the process to just a few clicks. Modelled on the live availability system used by hotels and airlines, Hire Space predicts that the technology will save stretched teams hundreds of hours each year.

Instant venue-booking technology is a great time-saver
Hire Space’s venue marketplace currently allows PAs and other event bookers to find and book venues around the UK using search filters around price, location, and capacity. Planners can then enquire and book directly with the venues through the site, cutting down on the time it takes to reach out to multiple venues.
The instant booking technology cuts back-and-forth with venues down to zero, allowing PAs and other event bookers to instantly find the ideal venue and confirm their event booking in just a couple of clicks. Currently 3000 venues are available to book on Hire Space’s marketplace, a number which the company expects to quadruple in the next year as demand rises for efficient, modern ways of booking events.
PAs can focus on the event whilst Hire Space 360 takes care of the contractor relationships
The technology is offered alongside the company’s Hire Space 360 service, which acts as a guarantor for all venues and event suppliers, making the process of onboarding and contracting suppliers for a single event many times faster and easier. Event organisers only have to sign one contract, with Hire Space acting as an umbrella contractor for all involved suppliers, removing the need for finance and legal to sign off on each event contract.
With finance and legal departments often taking weeks to sign off on contracts, the service aims to streamline the process so that PAs and other event bookers can reinvest more time and energy where it counts. Poland notes that:
