Matchmaker PRO has evolved from a free venue-finding pilot to a service trusted with high-impact events for major brands across London and the wider UK (expanding into Amsterdam along the way). With Christmas approaching, it’s adding group packages and vetted suppliers to cater to more for clients.
Canvas Events launched Matchmaker PRO with a straightforward pitch: ‘a free venue concierge service for corporate clients, brands and agencies’. Since kicking off, it has built a habit of landing high-profile venues for major clients, forged connections across London and the UK.
A breakout first year for Canvas Events’ venue concierge service
The concierge desk has worked through hundreds of venue briefs and landed conferences, Christmas parties, fashion shows, brand activations, product launches and nightlife events — proof of a team that’s beginning to really get its eye in. Every single review of the service has been 5*, which very much speaks for itself.

Christmas party season!
Canvas are growing its Matchmaker PRO function for the 2026 Christmas party season. Beyond venue sourcing and rate negotiation, the concierge team will now also help clients secure group packages and put them directly in touch with vetted suppliers across entertainment, production, AV and event management.
The service has already secured an event for the festive season : a 200-guest Christmas party at an exclusive activity bar that is new to the market and not yet widely available to book directly, arranged through the concierge team’s existing venue relationships.
