PA Life also enjoyed a stay at No 38 The Park, a stylishly designed boutique hotel in central Cheltenham. There are plenty of things to keep you busy during your stay in this historic spa town. The boutique hotel offers a luxurious stay and a welcome escape from the ordinary, whether you are staying in Cheltenham for business or leisure.

You can also enjoy a lovely meal in the restaurant to fuel your adventures โ€“ whether youโ€™re enjoying an afternoon at the polo, or listening to inspirational talks at The Cheltenham Literature Festival, or entertaining clients at the races. The Italian inspired restaurant’s menus have something for everyone. Whether you enjoy tucking into a succulent prime cut or sipping decadent cocktails with friends. I must add that the breakfast was a delight – freshly prepared classics on the menu as well as a great buffet, and very importantly, excellent coffee too. The hotelโ€™s intimate bar is a perfect stop for pre-dinner drinks or a naughty night cap before bed.

The Wheatsheaf Inn, Northleach

The 17th century coaching inn feels like a retreat to tranquillity, and is located close to the Cotswoldsโ€™ top spots like Cheltenham Racecourse and Bourton-on-the-Water (aka, the Venice of the Cotswolds).

The Wheatsheaf Inn houses 14 bespoke bedrooms, all with a blend of calming neutral tones, striking wallpapers, and trendy industrial lighting adding a contemporary twist. Original beams, exposed brickwork, and charming wooden floorboards add to the homely feel. And the great outdoor space is a perfect spot for teams to come together. The chefs take pride in cooking fresh, seasonal food that matches the enchanting and historic pub.

PA Life enjoyed a wonderful Sunday lunch at the pub. Pork and beef options of traditional roast was served in the beautiful 17th century inn’s cosy dining room. They have a great three-course Sunday menu as well as great ala carte options, plus an extensive wine list to make your stay one to savour.

The inn also has 14 uniquely designed luxury bedrooms if you want to experience an unforgettable country village stay.
