National Museums Liverpool launches Covid-19 Event Guide

Although the new national restrictions will significantly impact the events industry for the next few months, National Museums Liverpoolโ€™s venue hire team has recently launched a Covid-19 Event Guide to help you look forward to future events in 2021 and beyond.

The guide provides a detailed overview of the measures that theyโ€™ve put in place to make their eight museums and galleries, which are currently closed, as safe as possible for both clients and staff. Highlighting that their public venues have all been awarded โ€˜Good To Goโ€™ status by VisitEngland, the team are keen to show that government and industry guidelines are being followed, from undertaking risk assessments for each event to implementing enhanced cleaning procedures across all of their venues.

Additionally, within the guide the team show a commitment to working closely with you during these challenging times. Theyโ€™re operating a flexible approach to bookings and contracts, and work with each individual client to understand what the latest restrictions mean for events.

As well as offering use of additional, uncontracted areas within their venues, the guide also includes a great ideas section covering some of National Museums Liverpoolโ€™s more flexible event spaces, like their outdoor riverside terraces at the Museum of Liverpool and a trio of interconnecting event spaces at World Museum, which can be used to manage guest movement and create a one-way system. Whether youโ€™re planning a conference or a dinner, the team can work with you to deliver your vision in a way that will maximise your safety while also impressing your guests.

All profits from events are returned to National Museums Liverpool to support its valuable work. By hosting your event with National Museums Liverpool, you are directly helping to support their museums and galleries which benefit millions of people every year.
