Westminster Abbey is welcoming back event bookers!

By Westminster Abbey

As lockdown restrictions continue to ease, the Events team at Westminster Abbey are thrilled to be able to take bookings once again for their 6 unique heritage spaces including College Garden – thought to be the oldest cultivated garden in England โ€“ and their newest space available for hire, the Queenโ€™s Diamond Jubilee Galleries.

The Galleries are truly unique, situated 52ft above the ground in the Abbeyโ€™s 13th century triforium. As well as being home to some of the Abbeyโ€™s greatest treasures, the space has incomparable views of Parliament to the East and the Quire and Nave to the West.

Lorraine Rossdale, Westminster Abbeyโ€™s Head of Event Management and Marketing, said: โ€œWe are delighted to be able to offer the Queenโ€™s Diamond Jubilee Galleries as part of our Corporate Events hire space portfolio here at Westminster Abbey. The Galleries really are like no other event space currently available in London and any event held there will be truly special.โ€

The Abbey also offers 5 other entirely unique and stunning spaces for hire including The Cloisters, 13th Century vaulted walkways that surround a lawned quadrangle, and The Cellarium, a medieval undercroft where 14th Century monks stored their provisions. All the Abbeyโ€™s spaces can be beautifully dressed to create the perfect space for any event!
