Church House Westminster launches ‘last minute’ venue hire solution

Church House Westminster has created a new instant event package to help event organisers find last-minute venue hire solutions until the end of 2021.

The Westminster event venue stands ready to instantly facilitate daytime conferences from 120 up to 250 in-person delegates by offering a ready-to-go all-inclusive conference package that includes room hire and audio-visual equipment for in-person events from ยฃ6,385.

Event organisers can choose to include live streaming with a ยฃ1,495 bolt-on or make the conference hybrid with a ยฃ2,000 supplement.

The move follows an influx of last-minute venue hire requests in recent months expertly organised by the expert venue team, which boasts both in-situ event planners and technologists.

Vedrana Dancerelle, Head of Events at Church House Westminster, said: โ€œWeโ€™ve seen the impact of last-minute event cancellations because of reduced staffing and supplier issues experienced within the industry. For us, as a venue, weโ€™ve been able to step in at the last minute as an all-in-one solution for event organisers on the hunt for a versatile venue together with on-site innovative event technology on very short notice. Our turnaround on these events is swift, as we aim to take the stress out of event planning for organisers who have been let down by suppliers at the last moment.โ€

The historic venue, located in Deanโ€™s Yard, boasts stunning views of Westminster Abbey and offers convenient and secure bike racks for those cycling to the venue. The Grade II listed building includes 19 versatile event spaces, ideal for a range of breakout activities, as well as a virtual studio set, supported by a permanent on-site production and technical team. Event organisers can also choose from a range of seasonal and sustainable catering menus featuring healthy and vegan breakfast, refreshments, and lunch options.

The Covid-secure venue event guidance includes individual event risk assessments and the opportunity for delegates to use the asymptomatic testing centre on the ground floor of the venue on the day of the event.

In recognition of their resilience, creative thinking, and sheer dedication in rebuilding against the challenges of the pandemic, the venue team has been shortlisted for the following awards in 2021:

  • Bradley Hill, Audio-Visual Manager for Church House Westminster, has been nominated for the miaList
  • Most innovative and tech-friendly venue, for the Event Tech Awards
