Training is a top priority for personal assistants

Hard work, enthusiasm and the right attitude all go a long way towards getting on at work, but having good, solid and CPD-certified qualifications is a sure-fire way to help propel you up the career ladder.

With this in mind, PA Life is launching a series of training courses, beginning on 1 May with four topics to be presented at Emirates Stadium in London. The four, half-day sessions cover such compelling subjects as career development, time and project management, improving communication skills and how to run successful events.

The courses are presented by an elite panel of speakers who are internationally renowned in their own field and the line-up is as follows:

Sue France is a well-respected trainer and author of The Definitive Personal Assistant & Secretarial Handbook

Angela Garry is a highly experienced coach in the area of career development and the most-connected PA trainer on social networking site LinkedIn

Cory Cook is a professional time management expert

Michael Foreman is Chairman of the Association of British Professional Conference Organisers and has more than 20 yearsโ€™ experience of event planning

The cost for each three-hour session is ยฃ90+VAT, including refreshments and comprehensive course materials. All the courses are repeated, meaning that readers who attend both morning and afternoon sessions can take in two topics for just ยฃ175, inclusive of lunch. PA Life Club members are entitled to a notable 50% off the normal price, making for a significant cost saving.
