From the desk of Penelope Alice, Britain’s most fabulous PA: 25 years of Corporate Service at Harrods

Nothing says luxury like Harrods, which is why I tend to check out the company?s current line when looking for corporate gifts. I had the pleasure of attending a celebration of the 25th anniversary of Corporate Service at Harrods and it was a great evening.

Our venue for the party was the Mondrian London at Sea Containers, a new hotel on Southbank near the Tate Modern. It?s a super-swish property with fabulous interiors. We were celebrating in the Rumpus Room, the hotel?s rooftop bar that?s inspired by historic pleasure-seekers the Bright Young Things.

The canap?s here are delicious ? tasty smoked salmon rolls, figs wrapped in beef and sweet caramelised lemon tart. In typical Harrods style, there were plenty of bubbles to go around, as well as juice and sparkling elderflower drink.

It was lovely getting to speak to some of the Corporate Service team members about what the company has accomplished over the past quarter of a century and changes in the corporate gifting industry. It?s hospitality like this that keeps me coming back year after year.
