Job-listing and recruitment site Glassdoor recently released a list of 20 of the best jobs for a healthy work-life balance based on employee feedback. The title of โpersonal assistantโ came in at number 11 with a better-than-average rating.
The ratings are based on a five-point scale, with one being โvery dissatisfiedโ, three being โokayโ and five being โvery satisfiedโ. Glassdoor asked users to provide feedback on its website.
Overall, the site reports a decrease in work-life balance among UK employees. The average rating in 2009 was 3.5, while numbers thus far in 2015 only average 3.2.
Coming in near the middle of the pack is โpersonal assistantโ, with a rating of 3.7 and an average salary of ยฃ25,632. According to the site, there are currently 8,744 vacancies for PAs.
Topping out the list of the highest-rated jobs is โweb developerโ, with an average of 4.1, followed closely by โcommercial managerโ and โresearch assistantโ.
