The Ritz Restaurant awarded Michelin star

The Ritz Restaurant has announced it has been awarded a Michelin star in the Michelin Guide Great Britain and Ireland 2017.

John Williams MBE, Executive Chef said: “It is the greatest honour to have been awarded a Michelin star. This star is testament to the entire team’s dedication to delivering excellence to every guest dining in The Ritz Restaurant daily. I am extremely proud to receive this recognition for the first time as part of the culinary history of this great hotel.”

Williams joined the hotel as Executive Chef in 2004 takes his inspiration from the principals and beliefs of Auguste Escoffier, one of the founding members of The Ritz. He creates exquisite dishes using the finest seasonal British ingredients, all of which are beautifully presented.

The Ritz has become world-renowned, considered around the globe to be one of the most beautiful dining rooms on the planet. The property aims to maintain its traditional qualities while offering a high level of technical expertise and personalized service delivered by the restaurant team.
