BREAKFAST AT CHURCH HOUSE WESTMINSTER

Church-House-Westminster-breakfast-buffet

Church House Westminster was a wonderful venue for the PA Life Club’s pink breakfast Meet Up. In honour of Breast Cancer Awareness Month of October the theme for the breakfast was Wear It Pink. The Church House Westminster events team had gone to great lengths to ensure pink was incorporated in the menu, flowers and also the lightning of the venue on the day.

We had picked a beautiful autumn morning and could take our coffees to the oak panelled Bishop Partridge Hall’s balcony which overlooks Dean’s Yard and boasts a great view of Westminster Abbey at the opposite side of this quiet garden square.

Sustainable and responsible sourced breakfast at Church House Westminster

We started the morning with a fantastic breakfast. The sustainable and responsibly sourced continental style breakfast buffet looked so inviting and proved to be equally delicious. Everything is overseen by their in-house catering team. There was a wonderful selection of plant-based savoury muffins, pastries and coconut yoghurt with granola, berries and fruit. The regular, non-vegan, options were equally tasty. I vouch for the blueberry muffins. A special mention goes to the fantastic smoothies and the superb strong coffee, perfect for seeing you through a morning of meetings or a seminar.

The Executive Head Chef has created a series of delicious, sustainable and ethically sourced menus for all your event needs, from fine dining to working lunches and sophisticated canapés.

Impressive event spaces at the heart of Westminster

The 15 strong group of PA Life Club members who attended the Friday 21st October breakfast were all keen to see the rest of the event spaces available for hire at this hidden Westminster gem. We had seen the beautiful images of their largest space, the impressive circular Assembly Hall, which was next to the Bishop Partridge Hall. Built in 1939 the stunning Grade II Assembly Hall was designed by world-renowned architect Sir Herbert Baker. Natural light streams through the 15 arched windows onto the gallery level, but can be darkened if required. The polished English oak panelling and emblems sit beneath the room’s architectural focal point – a striking 30-foot glass dome. The main Assembly Hall has 32ft height ceilings and totals 519 square meters of floor space.

There are in total 19 different event spaces for hire at Church House Westminster, anything to suit a meeting, drinks reception, conference, AGM, Christmas party – how about a Disco Through the Decades Christmas Party? – to a large gala dinner.
