Our Meet Up on November 16th was a great way for PA Life Club members to experience the fun and exciting team activities at Gravity Max corporate events and parties.
Gravity Max is located on the ground floor of the South Side shopping centre in Wandsworth, 10 min walk or a quick bus ride from Wandsworth Town station which is served by trains from Waterloo.
The place is vast, with activities on three levels. The ground floor is dedicated to E-karting, the xxx long track multilevel track takes in tight curves and fun hills testing the skills and nerves in a race against your team mates. It’s advisable to start with the E-karting, or at least do your driving before heading to the bar as drinking and driving is naturally not allowed.
A group of 20 members arrived ready to try out as many activities we could fit into our evening. We started the showround at the top floor Newton’s Bar, a smart space for our welcome drinks and introduction to the venue by the Director of Sales, Shane Williams, who told us what Gravity Max can offer for corporate events. They can accommodate a number of different types of events from team building, company parties of any size, away days or even meetings and conferences making the use of the dedicated event spaces.
Our tour of the venue started at the 4th floor dedicated meetings and events space, working our way down to Urban Street Golf and Game Box floor which has a very nice bar area too.
On the next floor down we found the Games Arcade with all the traditional fun you’d expect, from claw picks and consoles. We sadly had no time to test our skills here this time, but it certainly looked like great fun to included in your activities. Next stop was the 14-lane augmented reality bowling, Hologate VR and a closer look at the E-Karting.
We ended our tour back at the Newton’s that now felt like a quiet and comfortable oasis after the buzz of the games rooms. A delicious spread of party food awaited – we particularly enjoyed the hazelnut and Gorgonzola pizza, sliders and the falafel, hummus and salad wraps. The catering team will be able to prepare a menu according to your requirements, including any dietaries you will need to consider.

We we eager to try some of the activities next, most of us heading over to the Augmented Reality Bowling Lanes for a spot of healthy competition. We loved it! Bowling is such a great team activity and these lanes were so cool with the changing graphics,
E-Karting was also a popular choice and the feedback after their race was simply ‘amazing’! And ‘we want to come back and bring our work team as Gravity Max has something for everyone, and is especially appealing for multi-generational teams.
